A 100 Year Guarantee is simple.
For the first 100 years after purchase, I will repair for free any item made in my shop that shows a material defect or a workmanship defect that can be repaired.
- Craftsmanship
You are making an investment in a piece that is rugged and built to last when you purchase from my shop. Our products are handcrafted per order or in small batches and are checked along the way for quality and consistency. Nevertheless, we are all human, so if you receive an item with a defect in craftsmanship (for example unset rivets, missing hardware, wrong color, etc..), please contact me within the first week following receipt and I will correct the situation as soon as possible.
- Materials
Simply put, the materials we use at Tolredo Leather Goods are first quality. Our leathers are of the highest quality, stainless steel and solid brass hardware are of the highest quality, and zippers and stitching are of the highest quality. All materials that make it into one of my designs have been researched, prototyped, tested, and tested a hundred more times. No material truly lasts forever (if you know one, please email me and I will try to use it in a design). As a result, we cannot provide any type of warranty for items that have been worn, damaged, misused, washed, lost, or subject to any kind of similar situation. A one-year warranty covers all hardware, including rivets, snaps, screws, clips, etc. Following that, if the item can be repaired easily, it will continue to be covered for repair for an additional 100 years the following purchase. I would be more than happy to assist with getting your item running again.
- Our guarantee does not apply to custom requests due to the complexity of the requests we receive involving new types of leathers, hardware and design principles.
- We only cover stitching or zipper issues unless noticed within the first week after receipt of the item. Please inspect your item carefully once you receive it. Material defects almost always appear within the first week of use.
